Are Parallel Dreams Just Another Universe?

There's been a lot of books written over the years on the subject of time travel. A lot of time spent on the subject. And I dare say a lot of money also. Scientists have investigated and theorised, mathematicians have puzzled and authors have fantasized over it. A great many books films and tv programs can lay their success at the door of someones fantastic imagination.

I don't know who first thought of time travel, and whether or not it was just founded in imagination or if someone knew something that we still don't. I haven't met anyone who travelled through time, nor anyone else who's met such a person. I think it unlikely that I ever will. At this point I expect you're wondering where I'm going with this. Well I just watched a program on National Geographic called 'The Truth about Time Travel,' in which various scientists and mathematicians tried to prove the real possibility of time travel. Even physicist Stephen Hawkins believes it is possible.
